I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! Hundreds of crunches will give you abs…. but you won’t be able to see them if you have a layer of fat on top! In order to “get abs” you need to not only train them, but lower your bodyfat enough to SEE them! How do you do this? Simple: Eat clean with a caloric deficit, do cardio, lift weights. Voila… ABS!

The push up is a GREAT compound exercise for girls wanting to build muscle, burn fat or even “tone” up their upper body. Make sure to do them with proper form. A good start is to do 3 sets of 10-15. Start on your hands and feet.. if you can only get to 5, that’s fine.. drop your knees to the ground and finish the rest of the set with “girl push ups” to burn out the muscles. =)

One of the best things you can do for your waistline is to learn how to read the nutrition facts label!!!!! If you know what you are looking at, it makes it SO MUCH EASIER to make healthy choices when faced with multiple options!!! I’ll start posting info about that, because it is crucial you girls learn how to do that <3
